I have reached that worrying point in any young man's life when you start thinking about the future. I never actually thought about the future before - it was always just going to happen. And as I was thinking about the future I was imagining what my wife might look like... and I don't know if this is normal or not, but I rather fancy Bjork!



It's not her music, which can be draining at times... it's just her. Naturally beautiful? I have no idea what compelled me to share this with the rest of the world. Of course, I told a friend about this and he thought she 'looked like a pancake'. Does that say more about my taste in women or my friends?

Anyway, I might just start planning a trip to Iceland...

I was recently told about Facebook.com by my brother - it's a social networking site where you can keep in touch with people from your univeristy, school, workplace or any other type of organisation. Simply use the e-mail address given to you from school/uni to sign in and then start adding all your mates!

Conveniently I'm in with the Imperial network (the uni I graduated from) - but you can join mulitple networks - e.g London or Army so you can maintain contact with people from different circles!
You can even upload unlimited photos and tag them with all your friends names to create a community photo album! Extra features include uploading text and photos from your mobile, 'poke' a mate, and a writing wall to drop quick messages off for your buddies.
To find your mates just search for your network (e.g Birmingham University) and start clicking.... I haven't found Chuck Norris yet - but I'm sure he's on there somewhere!

Morning Runner

It's not often you come across the 'next big thing', but I'm damn sure that this new Reading band - 'Morning Runner' - are going to be huge! Already they're being compared to Coldplay, and it's not hard to see why. The album is very angsty, but with a great rock lilt that will definately be flooding the radio waves this summer.



I only got the album a few days ago, and already it's been playing non-stop, which doesn't happen often with me!
The highlight is swelling piano anthem Burning Benches (click for video) - which is an almost perfect twisted symphony with intense emotion that really surprises, especially considering the average age of the band!
