23/1/09, 03:20 PM The first thing you do with a Wii fit is jump around around the room using huge arm-sweeps and uncoordinated flails resulting general Wii-related embarrassment. Some people even developed a new spurious disease - 'Wii elbow'. However, after a few weeks you soon realise you can still pull off exactly the same tennis 'Ace' or ten bowling strikes in-a-row simply by performing a tiny limp-wristed flick of the controller, of course while sitting down. The 'Wii Fit' becomes no longer a fitness machine, it's just a games console after-all.

Enter the 'Riiflex' (You couldn't make it up!). Yes, it does what it says on the tin - makes the controllers heavier, so you can't just sit there making miniscule gyroscopic movements anymore - you've got to pump some iron! Or at least the manufacturers hope so. 22/1/09, 07:36 PM  Just to say - how exciting it is to have Lost back! Season five promises to be full of twists - and apparently there are no more 'flashbacks' as they are no longer needed.... could this be something to do with the time-distorting properties of the island? Who knows? The UK is only slightly behind the US this season, so hopefully spoilers won't hit our shores too early - I hate actually knowing what's going to happen - speculation is fine, but outright bare-faced ruining the story is a bit off. Where is the island? What is the link between Ben and Widmore? Is Penny really as ugly as I think she is? All these questions and more will be answered... and more!
